Fractional Ownership of a beautiful 44’ ‘Perry’ Cheoy Lee Sloop

Based in The Southern Caribbean, three out of a total five shares are being offered for sale of this beautifully maintained classic Cheoy Lee, “Spirit of Bequia.”

Each syndicate share is US$ 25,000, with an agreed, fixed annual fee for all maintenance, dry storage, upgrades, with full expense accounts made available to all members. Not only a true blue water vessel, capable of handling the seas in The Carib with ease, she is also appointed to a very high standard, with ‘owners’ cabin not only boasting separate shower and head rooms, but also a true king size bed, with two large varnished hatches over for plenty of fresh air at anchor. In readiness for the 2009 / 2010 season, the yacht will enjoy the following upgrades, including new canvass, Tak Tik data system, new sailing tender with outboard, gravity feed fuel system, fridge, satellite radio and Bose sound system, helm compass, re-varnish, feathering propeller.

Each shareholder receives 10 weeks sailing time, and once approved by the fellow syndicate members, this can be bareboat if desired, but at least 4 weeks will be with skipper / member in the first season. Further skipper time is available at very reasonable weekly rates. All costs incurred each year are divided equally between the five syndicate members, and for costing purposes and affordability, this is set for five years at a maximum of $5,000 per syndicate member per annum, with full sets of accounts and receipts being made available at the end of each season. This means that individual’s expenses are kept to a minimum and available sailing time to a maximum.

In addition to the sailing time, each syndicate member will also receive two full weeks use of an amazing lakeside cabin, in British Columbia, Canada, in either July or August of each year.

Renovated to a very high standard, with all modern conveniences, this ‘eco’ lodge runs purely on solar energy, (with an emergency generator back up), sleeps 6, and is 50ft from a beautiful , un spoilt 33 hectare lake, where engines are banned, so is provisioned with a private dock with rowing fishing boat, kayak, and Hobie Cat trimaran for exciting lake sailing! Being only 15 minutes from The American border means that should you wish to escape the tranquility of this haven, casinos and fine dining is only a short drive away! Not only that, the cabin is 30 minutes from The World renowned Fernie Ski Resort, where mountain biking, rafting, and equally excellent tasting restaurants are available.
