The WANDERERS are a new class of yacht for the family man who wants a boat fit for blue-water sailing.  Laurent Giles, whose development of the English pilot boat type has led to such designs as the Dyarchy, the Vertue class and Wanderer III, has designed the WANDERER class specially for Salterns Yacht Agency Ltd, to be built in teak by Cheoy Lee Shipyard, Hong Kong.    Already the Vertues, teat-built by Cheoy Lee, are well known in the U.K.  WANDERERS are built to an equally high specification.  This latest addition to the range of yachts built by Cheoy Lee Shipyard is to an entirely original design incorporating a modern and most comfortable interior layout.

My wife Terri and I have recently bought a Wanderer class sloop, designed by Jack Laurent-Giles and built by Cheoy Lee in 1965.  She is Boat number ten of 33 in her class.  I think that all the boats were built by Cheoy Lee.

Here are some photos Stuart submitted - click for larger images

Uncluttered layout on deck.

Me working on re-caulking the deck seams.

My wife Terri, relaxing in the cockpit, while cruising friends get on with the sailing.

View down the main companionway.

Underwater shape.  Notice how fair the hull is, thank you Cheoy Lee!

Me below making a list of jobs to do on Alchemilla!
