Greetings! Since it seems like
everyone's lives are busy busy busy these days (including our
own), we've finally nailed down the dates for future events for
the SFBay Cheoy Lee group for each year.
The Cheoy Lee Fire Drill
Race occurs on the Saturday of the last full weekend in
April. In 2007 it will be April 28th. It is
the same day as the first Twin Island Race, and is willingly run
by the Sausalito Yacht Club racing committee. The race also
occurs the day before opening day on San Francisco Bay - so its
a great two-day spring sailing opportunity.
Similarly, the Cheoy Lee
Rendezvous is held on the Saturday of the last full
weekend in September, when we can take advantage of fewer crowds
and nice early fall weather. In 2007 it will be April
29th.
