Looking for info on Pedrick 47

Dear Cilla & James:

What a great invention is the internet!  I wasn't prepared to find  anything on Cheoy Lees, except for maybe the address of the shipyard, when I started surfing. Now first I found your website, second the address, and third the addresses of owners in Hong Kong. Congratulations and thanks: You have done a great job!
Now, I am not an owner of a Cheoy Lee yet, but you never know. I am looking at buying a newly built Lee-Pedrick '47 center cockpit ketch in Hongkong, and would love to be your first entry as an owner from Germany (I'm a Kraut) and as a permanent resident of China at the same time. This makes two entries, right?
Before I decide to do so, is there anybody who can give me information on the Pedrick '47
Second, has anybody sailed a Cheoy Lee from Hongkong to the US? I am planning on a trip from Hongkong to Japan, Alaska, British Columbia, the West Coast and then to Hawaii, in about 18 months time from now, and once the boat will be mine.
Whatever information anybody can provide, it would be highly appreciated.
Thank you again, and my best regards from Tianjin, Mainland China.
Peter
Looking for info on Older Motoryachts For the bulletin board:
I have browsed through Yacht Trader magazine and Soundings looking for
classified ads for older Cheoy Lee motoryachts in the 55' to 66' range.
Most of the models advertised were newer than 1980 (that's true for
other boats, as well - why is that?).  How can I track down the
fiberglass models made in the mid-60's to mid 70's which might have an
owner willing to sell?

Also, I have heard that the best prices for motoryachts are in Southern
Florida, but I am wondering if there are better bargains in less liquid
markets in countries which have a faltering economy, such as
Indonesia.   Any comments would be appreciated.
