General:

Tigre has been the "Spaulding family yacht" since 1978.  For 24 years she has been a pleasure for family and friends to sail in and around the San Francisco Bay including many trips to the Sacramento River Delta as well as several offshore cruises from Monterey, Drakes and Tomales Bay.

Where ever we go heads turn and we receive compliments of "beautiful boat". We agree!  There are few experiences that beat the sound and feel of sailing a wooden hulled yacht.  In 1988 the hull was completely wooded exposing her beautiful and irreplaceable teak planking.  After feasting our eyes on this beauty reality set in and Awlgrip was  applied.

Now both retired, my wife and I have decided to expand our sailing horizons beyond Northern California to Mexico and points beyond.  Loving "Tigre" as we do we don't think she is the boat to take us through the Panama Canal.  As a result we have decided it's time to pass the torch and give another loving owner the privilege of owning and sailing this fine Cheoy Lee built yacht.
