General:

"Spice Lady" is a fine example of the Ray Richards design for Cheoy Lee.  The boat is in Bocas del Toro, Panama so would be in an excellent position for someone wanting to do cruising during the northern winter months. We have been cruising her in the Caribbean since 2000. She is really set up below for a cruising couples comfort with the removal of one of the aft quarter berths and one v berth. The chain locker has been enlarged by moving the bulkhead back 18 inches to accommodate 300 ft of chain and rode. A floor to ceiling closet has been built in the master state room in front of the entrance to the head giving bundles of shelf storage for clothing, etc..

Spice Island Lady has been totally refit over the past two years. The teak decks were removed and replaced with fiberglass, topsides, cockpit and masts have all been repainted. New overhead installed below and all new upholstery.
All sails are in good to excellent condition. There is bundles of storage through out.
Hauled out in February, 2007 and 5 coats of Jotun antifouling applied.
