Accommodations and Layout:

OVERVIEW:  Sleeps 6 owners and guests in 2 staterooms, plus 2 dinette berths for a total of 5 berths.

MASTER STATEROOM-Aft:  Highlights:  2 berths port and starboard of the companionway.

There is a large single berth to port of the companionway with N/S nav station forward of the berth.  Across, on the starboard side of the companionway is a double berth.  Storage above and below both berths.  Satin finish furniture grade teak in aft cabin and throughout yacht.  Teak is in extraordinary condition and looks new.  Recently varnished heavy teack and holly sole throughout yacht.  Hanging lockers in each area.

GUEST STATEROOM:  Forward:  Single berth.  Hanging locker,

Single berth in forward cabin with double entry door immediately behind huge U-shaped main saloon settee.  Huge hatch in stateroom, storage, above and below.  Large hanging locker to starboard of port settee. 

MAIN SALON, Amidship:

Double entry doors to forward guest cabin immediately forward of settee on centerline.  New custom settee cushions upholstered in blue ultra suede.  Large drop leaf circular table on centerline affords ample seating for eight.  Light, near white headliner throughout.  There are two large hatches in the main saloon, six opening portlights, bronze with screens.

Teak fascia around portlights and around interior of vessel in excellent condition.  There are also four dorades which contribute to excellent ventilation.  Above the port and starboard settee are six opening doors (three on each side.) for storage, plus large opening areas in the center with bookshelves.  Lockers on each side aft of the settee with storage space.  Aft of the settee on the port side is a bulkhead with the head behind, galley across.  The head features a 20 gallon holding tank.  The engine is located beneath the sole on the centerline adjacent to the head and galley.  Aft of the saloon, galley, and head is a centerline door to the aft cabin.  Sour storage areas under settees.

 GALLEY, Amidship:  Highlights:  Force 10 3 burner, propane stove with spark ignition.

The galley features a near new Force 10 stove.  The oven is huge, having the capacity to easily accommodate a 20lb. Turkey.  The stove faces the starboard side of the yacht, the double stainless sinks facing the saloon, with a new faucent, two manual pupls, one for seawater and the other fresh water.  Directly behind the sink and to the right of the stove is a counter and the cold plate refrigeration with top and bottom loading capacity.  Above the counter are double doors for a condiment and pantry area.  The refrigeration/freezer if custom with engine driven compression.  There is a Shadow II LPG monitor mounted to the right of the sink, with a companion refrigeration/freezer control.  There is a shower and refrigeration sump tank, and a six gallon hot water heater heated by 100v shore power or engine jacket water.

The yacht features a one piece hand laid-up fiberglass hull with a one piece hand laid-up molded deck with teak deck overlay.  The teak deck is laid in polysulfide rubber over the fiberglass deck.  There are vinyl covered stainless double life lines with two opening gates, a stainless bow and aft pulpit.  There is varnished coaming around the cockpit and a teak cockpit grate.  The yacht has a Fridel Blipper radar reflector mounted on the side of the mast above the spreaders

Solid glass hand-laid-up hull, two way teak trimmed opening hatches, stainless steel genoa track with nylon cars.  The underbody features a cut-away forefoot and massive skeg hung rudder.   Few yachts have been maintained in the condition “Talaria” enjoys.

REMARKS:

“Talaria’s”owners have owned her for 5 years and the previous owners for 13 years.  Her hull and accessories have been meticulously upgraded and maintained.  She has a custom, all teack interior in superb condition, a custom factory addition of modified port and starboard berths to bookshelves and extra lockers, oversize primary winches and a stainless steel guard around the binnacle compass.  The interior is unique and has the luxury of a yacht twice her size.  She is an extraordinary yacht, available at a modest price – a yacht that truly must be seen to appreciate.
